I absolutely love this place from the detail of the food quality down to the lovely look of the cafe. I tried the cheesecake with blueberries on my first visit and was impressed by the fact that the sweetness of the cheesecake didn't overwhelm the fruit. When I tried the smoked salmon avocado egg sandwich, I was also impressed by how the salmon didn't taste too salty, something that I have an issue often with salmon sandwiches in other restaurants. And the brioche bread was lightly toasted to a perfect degree, not too crunchy that it made a mess, but enough to hold it's shape when being bitten into. I also love the pistachio croissant and the dark chocolate mousse. So far I haven't been disappointed in the many cappuccinos that I've ordered as well! I definitely recommend this place for its food and ambiance.

We had a nice visit to Tatte in Bethesda, but I have to share a little funny moment. I wanted the Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich—without the egg. When I asked, they told me it wasn’t possible. We asked if they could check with the chef and came back to say “no, we can’t do it”So, we asked if there was anything similar, and it turns out there was: the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast, which already came without the egg! I didn’t see it on the menu at first, but I thought, why not just suggest the alternative instead of saying it can’t be done? It gave me a good laugh, and in the end, I got what I wanted. The toast was really good—fresh ingredients, great flavors, and the green herb dressing was a nice touch. Also, my mocha latte was quite lovely and hit the spot. Would I go back? Definitely. Next time, I’ll just know what to ask for!

I have heard so much hype about this place so I came in for lunch. The cafe is bright and airy and the staff is very friendly. You order at the counter and they give you a number and you sit wherever you like. I ordered a salad and a soup. Everything is made to order which I like and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The portion sizes are good and there's lots of flavor! I also tried their pistachio latte which was sweet and rich and I grabbed a pear juice to take with me which only has one ingredient in it which is pear so I feel good about drinking it. The only critique I have is I wish there were a few more inside tables but looking around I don't where they would be able to put more tables so it's fine. It fills up very fast here so I recommend eating here during off peak hours or taking your food to go. There is outside seating but with the weather getting colder that won't be an option for much longer. This is a great spot and I will be back!

Tatte in the evening is the place to be! We were here on a snowy Thursday and it was like being in a snow globe with exquisite desserts. We shared a delicious tiramisu, orange tea, and I did purchase a white Tatte tumbler. The tumbler keeps my ginger water warm for hours!

Tatte Bethesda Review: The Original Favorite Tatte in Bethesda is the original Tatte that I first visited, and it remains a favorite. The drinks are always great, with our top pick being the house latte. Recently, we've been trying some of their juices, like the lemonade with fig syrup and mint, which are refreshing and unique. The lamb shakshuka is always a standout, but we've also enjoyed the croissant with egg and cheese. The vibes are consistently great—super busy and very chic. The desserts are also good, offering a sweet end to the meal. The service is order-at-the-counter, and the staff has always been super friendly. Tatte Bethesda continues to be a beloved spot for its delicious food, excellent drinks, and vibrant atmosphere.
